Russian House Dress-Up

We spent our Thanksgiving at Russian House in downtown Austin. AWESOME! I love that place, as I cannot get enough cabbage or herring.

The restaurant has all kinds of Russian/USSR/DunnobecauseIdontreadCyrillic wardrobe to play with. And a giant taxidermy bear. While we waited for our food, I took the kiddo out front to play with the outfits. He was scared of one of the long, furry coats because it looked like the scary bear. Maybe that’s why he brought his favorite beaver toy along to protect him.

I should add that the kid’s name is Vladimir. One day he will appreciate being introduced to Russian cuisine! 🙂
